2-Stage Clutch Bracket

The 2-Stage Clutch Bracket transforms the clutch feel of Phantom-Pro, SimJack, and Simsonn pedals by delivering a true two-stage engagement with a fully adjustable design. Unlike other mods that limit movement, this system allows independent travel of the damper and spring shaft, giving you precise control over clutch behavior and feel.

What to Expect

Clear, defined bite point
As you press the clutch, you’ll feel a distinct point where resistance drops near the end of the travel. This creates a sharp, tactile “break” that clearly communicates when the clutch is disengaging.

Authentic engagement feedback on release
When releasing the clutch, resistance remains light until you reach the engagement point, then the pedal pushes back firmly. This makes the moment of clutch engagement unmistakable and repeatable.

Highly tunable feel
Using FreeJoy or DIView, you can fine-tune midpoints and response curves to align perfectly with the physical bite point of the pedal. The strong mechanical break allows software tuning to directly match what you feel under your foot.

Built for consistency and realism
The result is a clutch that provides real pedal feedback, not just added stiffness, allowing you to feel exactly when the clutch is engaging and disengaging every time.

Note:
This upgrade was designed to be used with the clutch pedal damper.
